I love the movement, the flexing of it is perfect. I think it should perhaps move up and down a little more (and a little faster), to make it look more realistic - but the movement of the piece itself can't be improved.

As for the OpenTTD screenshot, I don't have any save games from the snowy world I'm afraid. I'm sure someone in the TT-Forums can help us out - I can post there if you like (I'm a moderator there).

Fantastic, absolutely fantastic! We'll have to get going with how to add this kind of feature into the game! :-D

Hey, another update on the level change cut-scene, I animated half the scene now. Next step is to add the car  :). I left out the surrounding objects because this is just a test render and leaving them out decreased the rendering time quite a bit.
The quality isn't great, I still have to find a way to compress it properly because uncompressed it's 900Mb which is a little much for a 30 sec movie.

I hope you guys like it.

My first post here, registered partly because I love corsixTH and partly to say this about your level board and animations n stuff: Love it, cant wait to see it implemented in the game. I support your decision to not go with a regular cross for the main piece.

Looks very good.
Like others pointed out I hope to see more of what happens in the levels on the board.
Great work thought!

Thank you all for the nice comments! It really motivates me.

I've been working on the final part of the scene this week, and i'm actually quite happy about it :). I'll render the last part of it tonight (should take 6-7 hours), then some final composting and then I'll post the result tomorrow.

Hello,
Yesterday I thought it would be finally finished today, but of course I should have foreseen that it never goes right the first time.
In the last part (which is the heaviest part to render) the board texture and the money aren't updated to their latest version  :(. This will cost me another night of rendering so tomorrow it should really be done.

CorsixTH - Level change cutscene (Final)
Changes:
- remodeled the front of the car
- updated the board texture
- updated the jigsaw puzzle texture
- added another mini-game-rat-extermination card (So there can be two mini games like the original)
- added money (as Boston suggested)
- changed the lighting
- and most importantly, I finished the animation. ;D

I also figured out a new compression method so the quality is a lot better.

Edit - I've uploaded the final version and updated the video above.
