Saving a game without a keyboard
« on: December 28, 2014, 12:12:52 AM »
Hi,

I've installed Corsix-th 0.40 on a Windows 8 tablet and it runs fine. However I can't figure out how to save a game. Is this possible without having a keyboard attached to the tablet? The problem is that I can't enter the name of the save game.

Thanks,
hrs

Hmm, I'm not sure. In other words you don't get an on-screen keyboard when you click the input field? Basically we haven't really tried the game on tablets (not counting the Android port) so we're bound to come across issues unfortunately.
For the end of the world spell, press Control, Alt, Delete.

Yes, this is the problem. The on-screen keyboard that is native to Win8 doesn't appear.

We have found a work-around which is to connect a keyboard to the tablet at one point and use it to create a save game. After this you can overwrite the save game without requiring a keyboard.

I see. I created an issue for this in our issue tracker. So that we don't forget about it. Thank you for your feedback!
