The game currently creates random earthquakes after going through the list. If you set one earthquake with start month and end month to something like 9999, you will practically never encounter them.

I can confirm that there is something wrong here. It will be available, but not from the start. If you use the All Research Cheat, you will see it. Normal research will unlock it as well. I will add the missing option to the editor.

If you want a quickfix, you can open your level in a simple text editor.
Search for this table:

---------------------- Objects -------------------------
| Objects available | Available from the start | Strength | Available for this level | Comment

and then this line:
#objects[37].StartAvail.StartStrength.AvailableForLevel.RschReqd 0 10 1 20000

then simply change the first 0 to a 1:

#objects[37].StartAvail.StartStrength.AvailableForLevel.RschReqd 1 10 1 20000

It looks cute! I like how everyone has a different style of mapmaking, even with limited options.

I haven't played the map, but I would suggest raising the land cost to something very high, maybe 200, since you already have all that cash.

The spawn rate you set looks insanely high. I don't think the game has a limit to how many patients can come each month, so it will keep increasing. After some years, it will probably become unwinnable.

If that's what you intended, it still makes for a nice challenge. You'll want to win as soon as possible, or it will get harder every minute!

Alright, it took nearly a year, but I've finally gotten around to redoing these.

If you've tried it before, almost everything has changed. I even redid the last level from scratch.

Fixed a bug which made it impossible to teach the research skill. Make sure to re-download the level!

Never heard of such an issue before.. I realize I'm late so you probably moved on.

I've added a screenshot from long time ago. It's not exactly optimized for maximum efficiency, but it looks funny to have 14 million cash =D

Sounds great, the only problem I see is that with the current game mechanics, you want patients to leave your hospital as quickly as possible so it doesn't get crowded. I think it might work out if the cafeteria is only enabled for some custom levels, and if their health doesn't go down while in the cafeteria.

I fixed another bug in the latest version. If you had a researcher teaching in the training room, you'd always get an error.

This error will not be fixed unless you update to the new editor, open your level and save it again. I decided to upload it before version 0.30 of the game is released. I have attached it to the first post in this thread.

Alternatively, you can open your level file in a text editor and simply add the following line:

Update: The leveleditor will not print "empty" win/lose criteria (0 0 0 0 0) anymore. Thanks to MarkL for pointing this out. I didn't know it was an issue.

And good to hear you had some "fun", I thought my code was too horrible to even look at. xD I appreciate it.

Oh sorry, I did not see your post until now. Thanks, I wasn't aware of this issue.

This is also a problem with the level editor then. I thought it was fine because I had seen it on the example level. Well, I will work on fixing it then.

edit: already submitted to the trunk. "empty" goals will not be printed anymore by the level editor.

Well destroyed rooms can be challenging, because you have to reorganize and see where to fit your new room. But the concept is useless because you can save and reload your game whenever you want. So in the end it's just annoying.

I wouldn't mind if you could just remove the room by paying some amount of money (which could be specified in the level parameters, or depending on #rooms.cost). Some of the ideas here sound wild and complicated xD

Not a bad idea, some people might enjoy it. I just think that TH is alot about micromanagement and the more you take that away, the more you would end up just moving around your hospital while the game is running at full speed, but there'd be nothing to do..

this is epic how do u program this stuff ???
well I taught myself the basics of Java, there are lots of tutorials for it, even youtube tutorials which I find much easier to follow than books for example.. Once you know the basics and you feel that programming might be a thing for you, You can start a little project like I did here. Whenever you don't know how to implement something, just google it. Without google there's really no way I could have done this.

By the way, I've currently stopped working on this but if anyone has suggestions or finds a bug, just post here and I might get motivated to do something again!
