Hi ChrizmanTV

That would be great, you seem like a very active user in here :)
I don´t know the best way to do it. Maybe you can "take over" this thread, or maybe you´ll have to create a new one. Could I get you to write to one of the forum admins (Lego3 or Corsix) and hear how to do it?  :)

Kind regards
Froksen

Hi

Since I don´t really play the game anymore. Anyone willing to take over maintaining this mappack?

I think CosixTH is great though.. :-)

Hehe, not if your hospital is successful ;-)

I seems that all download links on the forum is currently broken, så I can really do anything to fix this issue :-/

Hi Moaku

Hmm..   Looks like the admins changed something behind the scenes, maybe something todo with the comming release of an "real website".

I get the same error as you and I'm just as suprised as you - although unfortunately I do not have an up-to-date backup of the package file.. Hmm, I see what I can do later on..

Until then you can download the maps on the creators forumthreads. I will see what I can do to fix this, as soon as I get the time :-)

Hi

You have to copy or extract the files (*.map and *.level) from the "mappack zipfile" to the "LEVELS" folder within your CorsixTH installation.

If you are using Windows its propperly something like C:\Programs\CorsixTH\Levels. On Linux something like /usr/share/games/corsix-th :-)

After you have copied the files, you just have to start Corsix-TH and select the custom map of your choice :-)

Research Department / Official RPM's ?
« on: December 27, 2011, 07:49:15 PM »
Hi there..

I have been thinking for some time, why isn't there official rpms for the latest stabile version of the project?
I know that openSUSE (which I use) have some outdated rpms in their repos for Beta6 or something like that.

So instead of keep wondering, I tried to create some which should work for Fedora and openSUSE (Only testet on openSUSE 12.1). :-) There are 64bit and for 32bit versions :-)

Feedback whether they work properly and so on is more than welcome :-)

(Please note, that these are NOT official RPMS!)
Download 64bit version
Download 32bit version

DL-link doesn't work

Hi LOON

Which download link have you tried? I have tried to download the package file attached to this thread in #0 (to test the download link) and it works fine here. Where you logged in when you tried to download the package file?

Hi

Shouldn't there be a "Grand Hospital EASY.map" also?  :-)

Hey there...

You have to copy the level files (*.map and *.level) to the folder called "Levels" within the CorsixTH dir. If you are using Microsoft Windows its properly placed in C:\Program Files\CorsixTH\Levels :-)

If you want all levels or want to browse through the levels easy, try out:
"My MapsInstaller": http://forums.corsix-th.com/index.php/topic,2867.msg3766.html
Or download the "Mappack": http://forums.corsix-th.com/index.php/topic,646.0.html

(You still have to either move the files manually to the "Levels" folder, or select the folder with the folder-browser in the MapsInstaller) :-)

Write an comment on the google code page, and then one of the corsix-th admins can give you access. I believe I got mine from edvin :-)

I used the terminal/konsole for uploading. It was just easiest for me (I use Linux and OS X), I don't know which program that is best for Windows :-)

@Kleeze: Nice to hear that you want to continue "my work" :-)  The simplest way is the one GrimdocBest said about uploading to google code. But if you get SVN access to the "real" project, then it is better since you can upload directly and people will always get the latest and greatest fast.

If you activate "debug" funktions then there is a easy way to make the game give you the differences.

Best of luck from here :-)

@Grimdoc, yeah that was what I did at first. Later I used the debug-dump text function :-D . Well, a simple way to do SVN:

Step one - Download the latest version:
NOTE: You need to have access to the real svn repos, not just the read-only stuff. :-)
a) Go to http://code.google.com/p/corsix-th/source/checkout
b) Insert the line that looks like this into your terminal (or other SVN program):
Code: [Select]
svn checkout http://corsix-th.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ corsix-th
Step two - Make your changes
a) Make your changes as you normally would
b) Save your changes

Step tree - Upload your changes
a) Browse to the Corsix-TH dir with your changes
b) Type i terminal
Code: [Select]
svn commit -m "Describe your changes here"c) Press center, and you will se the changes being sent! :-)

It might be a bit strange at first, but its not that hard :-)
