Emergency Room / Re: Need help, could do with a save at level 10

I don't have any saves for you, but you can cheat a little just to get an advantage.

And scroll down to "Turning on the DEBUG menu (for cheats, tweaks or research on game behavior)"

This isn't implemented into CorsixTH yet.

Ah, ok.
Now I support the idea. :)

In your wanted scenario: if you have one pharmacy (number 1) with max 3 queue, and one with 0 (number 2):
When you get over 3 patients in pharmacy 1, then they start going to pharmacy 2.
But in this scenario, what is the max queue of pharmacy 2?
What happens if you have two rooms with queue size 0?

I like the way the game is today, because I can shut down an entire room if I want to.
And then indirectly make staff members free, so they can work in other rooms.

Just turn on the debug menu to use cheats.

Go here:,3446.0.html
And look for the "Turning on the DEBUG menu" section.

Research Department / Re: Templates for 'finished' rooms

The new version will contain somewhat the thing you ask for.

You can turn on a setting, that keeps track of the items you buy for each room, and will then add the items to the "placement list".
This is done by calculating the average amount of each item for each room, so after building a few rooms of one kind, you should always get your wanted items in that list.
I think that it is how it will work at least.

But I don't know if we have a button to purge the list. That could maybe be useful.

Go into your CorsixTH folder, and try both "CorsixTH_DirectX.exe" and "CorsixTH_OpenGL.exe" to start the game.
Try zooming in one of these.

I think the normal desktop shortcut is for the SDL version.

I like them. Keep up the good work :)

I like this idea, and I guess it is doable.
But it is far into the future I think.

Where are you trying to save them?
I start to wonder, since you mention Fallout 2, which doesn't use LUA at all.

Do you run the game through dosbox or something? Are you playing CorsixTH or the old Theme Hospital?

The 2 bottom ones might be fixed in the trunk. But I'm not sure.

Do you have any savegames for any of the issues? From just before they happened.

What version are you running?

For the future, these problems should be posted in our issue list:

Movie stuff
Great, Joe!
I really like it! :)

Was the sound open source?
Thanks Grimdoc!
The sounds used were bought from, royalty free. I don't know if this is a problem, but I couldn't find many good and free sounds elsewhere. I'm not quite sure what you meant about your quote, though. :s
I'll start a new post soon about the "information dialogue" (aka the fax machine) to get some opinions on re-creating it. Perhaps using the same room, computer, keyboard, mouse, etc.

I just used the quote to show the post was intended for you, and left out the text from the quote, since it would just take up much place, when it wasn't needed. Like the text above now :p
