As this was left wide open I decided to make it interesting (and hard) so you're head really will explode.

This level is now designed to screw with your head. Thanks for the map and the idea kaelhm.

Keep the current map, just change the level file; I thought it needed changing, as it had no objectives and setting alterations.

I’ll tell you winning and losing objectives, but many more changes besides have been made (you’ll have to play the level to find them all).

To win do all of the following at the same time…

Have a Bank Balance of at least 750,000
Have a Hospital Value of at least 235,000
Cure at least 95% of the visitors to the hospital
Have a reputation of at least 900

However you lose if all of the following apply at the same time…

Have a bank balance of -20,000 or less
Kill at least 10% of the visitors to the hospital
Have a reputation of 350 or less

You also lose if either of the below apply at any time…

Kill at least 20% of the visitors to the hospital
Have a reputation of 250 or less

I’ve tested this slightly and it doesn’t seem to crash, if you have any issue though let me know what was happening and how long in game time the game has been going for. I’ll then be able to find the bit it doesn’t like.

Let me know what you think!

Lastly, good luck with not going crazy… This is sure to test you in different ways to normal.

I don't have any of those three folders. There is nothing above the game application files. (and that is all that comes with the game's .dmg file) I have a folder which I told it to look it (it also stores the three application files). Mac's do store things  differently...

I have just solved this though for anyone else that might want to know...

1. Find the application file called CorsixTH (the one used when you wish to open the application and play the game)
2. Right click (from the menu select 'show package contents')
3. Click on the contents folder
4. Click on the resources folder
5. Click on the 'Levels' folder
6. Copy items into this folder

This does mean that in theory for Mac's the game could be easily distributed with some pre-installed custom maps by getting users to replace one file (once items have been added to the mac application 'package').

Thanks for your help MarkL (you actually inspired me to finding it...

I like this idea! It could even be expanded to include some sort of rule surrounding when the staff should open a second pre-built version of the room. Rather than finding 8 people wanting the GPs office only to find spare GPs offices which are unmanned.

I would like to see a feature allowing me to set the level at which handymen should repair a machine. I can set the priorities of handymen to fix the machine but if the equipment is not more than 50% damaged they won't repair it. It is all too common to see something just over 50% life left get wiped out in an earthquake.

This could be added to the hospital policy window.

I would like the ability to be able to set the minimum doctor qualifications on a room by room basis. ie. forcing only consultants to work in the GP's Office. As this provides the quickest diagnosis.

It could be useful to instruct the hospital to only accept diagnosis patients in certain psychiatries and wards, and likewise for treatments.

I try and split diagnosis and treatment to completely different parts of the hospital. So I would rather not have undiagnosed people in the ward next to operating theatres.

Until you get late in the game and have to deal with Alien DNA researchers are pointless having out of the research dept.

So I would like to see something in place that a researcher can leave the research dept to deal with Aliens before returning to do research. That was a total pain when I found out they needed the a researcher to cure them. (I normally have a lot a Surgeon Psychiatrists running around).

I also like the fact she never asks for a pay rise!

Maps / Custom Map location on OS X

When I installed corsixTH it was a case of dragging the game, map editor and AnimView into a folder and telling it where the orignal game files can be found.

I therefore don't have a 'CorsixTH' folder containing another folder called 'Levels'.

I have tried adding them to a 'LEVELS' folder that came with the original game (which failed).

Any ideas? Someone else must have come up against this issue on a mac already?
