Research Department / Equipment Maintenance Threshold
« on: March 03, 2013, 05:40:40 PM »
I would like to see a feature allowing me to set the level at which handymen should repair a machine. I can set the priorities of handymen to fix the machine but if the equipment is not more than 50% damaged they won't repair it. It is all too common to see something just over 50% life left get wiped out in an earthquake.

This could be added to the hospital policy window.

Research Department / Restricting rooms to certain qualifications

I would like the ability to be able to set the minimum doctor qualifications on a room by room basis. ie. forcing only consultants to work in the GP's Office. As this provides the quickest diagnosis.

Research Department / Limiting the use of rooms to certain functions

It could be useful to instruct the hospital to only accept diagnosis patients in certain psychiatries and wards, and likewise for treatments.

I try and split diagnosis and treatment to completely different parts of the hospital. So I would rather not have undiagnosed people in the ward next to operating theatres.

Until you get late in the game and have to deal with Alien DNA researchers are pointless having out of the research dept.

So I would like to see something in place that a researcher can leave the research dept to deal with Aliens before returning to do research. That was a total pain when I found out they needed the a researcher to cure them. (I normally have a lot a Surgeon Psychiatrists running around).

Maps / Custom Map location on OS X

When I installed corsixTH it was a case of dragging the game, map editor and AnimView into a folder and telling it where the orignal game files can be found.

I therefore don't have a 'CorsixTH' folder containing another folder called 'Levels'.

I have tried adding them to a 'LEVELS' folder that came with the original game (which failed).

Any ideas? Someone else must have come up against this issue on a mac already?
