Emergency Room / trying to fix prob with a level file from the map pack
« on: September 23, 2018, 01:55:14 PM »
I'm confused as to where I should be asking for help here. I already asked at github and they diagnosed the prob but then claimed it was not one of "their" files so they closed the issue. I thought this place was "their" forums since their page makes it look that way, evidently I was incorrect in that assumption. The files in question are part of the map pack zip that is avail on this forum. Here's a link to the discussion about my prob:

I WANT to play this map but I don't code, never have, so their answer doesn't actually make sense to me. I am now down to making it easy and being able to deal with similar problems in the future in the same manner. In the level file, if I change all the lose criteria to zero's, will that fix this for me on a perm basis?

#lose_criteria[0].Criteria.MaxMin.Value.Group.Bound   1   1   200   1   0
#lose_criteria[1].Criteria.MaxMin.Value.Group.Bound   5   1   200   1   0
#lose_criteria[2].Criteria.MaxMin.Value.Group.Bound   0   0   0   0   0
#lose_criteria[3].Criteria.MaxMin.Value.Group.Bound   0   0   0   0   0
#lose_criteria[4].Criteria.MaxMin.Value.Group.Bound   0   0   0   0   0
#lose_criteria[5].Criteria.MaxMin.Value.Group.Bound   0   0   0   0   0

If the answer is yes, what program do I use? I am using the notepad in my linux to open the file but I have no clue if it would be safe to use that prog to edit and save. Should I do this in my windows instead? I have a dual boot sys. I have no desire to blow up my game <or my puter> over this.
