Spaces Campaign

Good news everyone! Theme Hospital replay times all over the world are saved again. With this unique, brand new 8-part campaign. Spaces will take you to some never-seen-before locations, and push the way you build hospitals to the limit. Ok, enough marketing bullcrepé :) take a look at the attached preview image and grab the campaign if interested. Report back if it's any good. I have playtested it a bunch of times, but who knows, there could still be problems and imbalances, this is my very first TH release after all, so bare with me. Questions, comments, suggestions welcome.

  • Save the attached zip file (link located at the end of this post, must be logged in to see)
  • Unpack the zip file to your \Program Files\CorsixTH\Campaigns\ folder
  • Launch CorsixTH and look for Spaces under Custom Campaigns

Big thanks to the CorsixTH team for bringing one of my childhood favourites back to life. With a map editor and the ability to drown in code to create custom levels, ohmigosh. Cheers! This campaign is for all of you. And other die-hard fans of TH.

The idea behind this campaign was to push the envelope, to squeeze as much as possible out of the limitations of this game. The win/lose conditions are not particularly challenging, but that's probably relative. The main focus should be on building and general fun.

Is there hard data on this? Did someone make the effort and time some of these things? As silly as it may sound, I think that'd be great.

Not that I am aware of.
It was only posted here, I think..

But the game doesn't support new skins/models yet as far as I know.

Hey everyone,

Did the above members who posted about adding some new artwork to the game ever formally release anything? Looked really cool seeing the two art styles. Definitely would have been cool to see a release of sorts.

Emergency Room / Consultant diagnosis bonus not working?
« Last post by Niejeden84 on February 25, 2018, 01:42:06 PM »
Hi All!

I've just started my adventure with CorsixTH (I'm a huge fan of the original) and the game works fine.

However, there's one thing that bothers me. In the original TH, placing Consultant in GP Office gave huge bonus to diagnosis. It was important especially in initial levels to diagnose conditions like Invisibility, because more advanced diagnostic rooms were not available.

However, in CorsixTH is seems not to work. Im on the second level of the Campaign, I have Consultant Researcher working in GP Office and still, patients with Slack Tongue and Invisibility are diagnosed only around 50-60% (I always have a prompt do decide what to do with the patients). Since there are no more diagnostic rooms in this level (more than Cardio), it makes effectively curing them impossible.

Is this a bug, or is this intentional?

Best regards!
